Be it simple or extravagant, weddings are simply unforgettable.
Here, we listed the best of recent Filipino celebrity weddings to inspire your inner romantic soul.
Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff
From Erwan’s heartfelt proposal to the actual wedding day—these two didn’t fail the netizens to swoon over their sensational love story. The affection they’ve shown for each other is one for the books. Though the ceremony was an exclusive garden wedding in Queenstown, New Zealand, the ambiance of the whole place and the couple’s evident bliss are exactly what we thought we’d only see in the movies. Also, the fact that Erwan couldn’t stop crying knowing that he was finally tying the knot with his girl is something that my fragile self just couldn’t help but cry over. And of course, we still can’t move on from how beautiful Anne was in her white wedding dress and bright red lipstick. They say nothing is perfect, but their wedding rather seemed like an exception.
Kara David and LM Cancio
Kara and LM’s traditional church wedding gave a “beautiful and solemn” ceremony. It was graced with their friends and families, and the day was just filled with joy as the lovers acted playfully just right after they tied the knot. Kara David, a distinguished journalist herself, made the effort to create a documentary-style save the date video that’s full of love. ICYMI, here’s what Kara had to say about their story—”Nasisid ko na ang malalim na karagatan. Naakyat ang mataas na kabundukan… Tumakbo, sumakay, lumipad sa kalangita, pero kahit kailan… Di ko pa nasubukang maglakad… Ngayon lang.” If that doesn’t stir you up a bit then I don’t know what will.
Vicky Belo and Hayden Kho
Despite the controversies that had been lurking around this couple since one can only remember, they finally tied the knot last year in an extravagant, Parisian way ceremony. With Belo’s Michael Cinco blush pink dress, gold-embossed pop-up invitations, and first class Coco Chanel suite at the Ritz Paris, among the other necessary and miscellaneous expenses, it is reported that they spent a whopping PHP 80M for the wedding. Well, it was totally worth it since they looked as though Belle and the Prince dancing during the reception at the Opera Garnier. In terms of glamour, this wedding is difficult to top.
Rochelle Pangilinan and Arthur Solinap
A Tagaytay picture-perfect garden wedding, Rochelle and Arthur melt our hearts with their heartfelt vows that promised to give each other’s best in every way possible. Rochelle likewise looked stunningly gorgeous in her Michael Cinco dress. The ceremony’s emotional ambiance was replaced with a steamy one when the couple showcased their own dance routines during the reception. It was truly an emotion- and fun-filled wedding that raged the whole country.
